We had the opportunity to design the new District Office for Adrianne Adams, the Speaker of the New York City Council.
This new District Office was designed to accommodate 15 members of staff including the Speaker and the Speaker’s chief of staff, along with a conference room for 10-12 persons, and a security office for NYPD.
RJSA’s office design provides better access to the community, additional security for the Speaker, and a much more comfortable working environment for the Speaker’s Staff. The Speaker’s staff have an open work area which allows for ease of communication between desks, and great care was taken in the selection of materials to make the occupied office quieter.
